¹ú²ú¾«Æ·

In 2025, we proudly unveiled our refreshed college logo across documentation, our website, and school signage. This update was widely celebrated as a beautiful contemporary interpretation of our historic emblem, thoughtfully repositioning our brand around the message that ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· is a feeling – a place of inspiration, diversity, and community.

After six months of careful design and consultation, a contemporary version of our logo was born. Each element was purposefully reimagined to honour our heritage of place, faith, and people, while reflecting the spirit of today’s ¹ú²ú¾«Æ·.

• The Dove – our central element, universally recognised as a symbol of peace, was redesigned with graceful, stylised lines. It continues to carry the cross, representing the message of the Lutheran faith.
• The Cross – leaning forward, it remains a powerful symbol of Lutheran Education’s progressive approach to learning. The softened lines give it a more graceful and welcoming presence.
• The Leaves – replacing the former palm tree, they symbolise our students. The graduating shades of green reflect the journey of growth and maturity, from childhood through to adulthood.
• The Mountains – ever-present in our campus outlook, they acknowledge our unique rainforest setting and honour our Djabugay ancestors.
• The Water – representing our rivers, waterfalls, and reef, the flowing shape forms an abstract hand – the hand of God, our Creator. It reflects our value of integrity and also acknowledges our Yirrganydji ancestors.

Together, these elements capture the essence of our tropical North Queensland identity, stretching from Cairns through to Hope Vale and Wujal Wujal. Our new logo is more than just a design – it is a symbol of who we are, where we come from, and the bright future we are embracing together.
